CASA Volunteers know the children in foster care they serve, they know their story and unique circumstances, and they have their best interests in mind. Having a CASA Volunteer by a child’s side can be the difference between despair and hope. Your donation helps CASA Volunteers advocate for safe, loving, and permanent homes for children in foster care.

Aaron was just eight years old when he and his little sister Ava were removed from their home after years of abuse and neglect. Ava was badly burned and needed urgent medical care. Aaron had faced unimaginable trauma. But when they met their CASA Volunteer, James, everything began to change.

James was appointed by a judge to ensure Aaron and Ava’s voices were heard. He showed up, every visit, every court date, every moment they needed him. He worked with doctors, therapists, and caseworkers to make sure both children were safe and healing.

When Aaron and Ava’s mother couldn’t provide the care they needed, James found their aunt and uncle, loving family members who welcomed them home.

When a child finally has someone who shows up, everything can change.
