Continuing Education: Medical Advocacy
This training will equip CASA advocates with practical medical knowledge to strengthen their ability to advocate for children in foster care. Participants will learn to recognize common medical, mental health, and developmental concerns, gain a foundational understanding of trauma-informed care, and learn how to access and utilize medical records. The session is designed to be accessible, practical, and directly applicable to advocacy work.
