Continuing Ed: Second Annual West Texas Regional Mental Health Conference
This educational conference is designed to provide three different concurrent tracks for learners that will provide information about mental illness and resources. The first track is designed to increase knowledge of different aspects of child, adolescent and maternal mental health, available resources, and interventions. The second track is designed to create awareness of mental health challenges as they relate to special populations and special considerations when working with individuals from these populations. The third track consists of identifying and treating common mental health challenges faced by first responders and military veterans. These concurrent sessions are designed to provide assessment instruments, evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions to develop skills, increase competences, and build a collaborative team-based approach for treating patients experiencing mental illness.
