Children’s Advocacy Center of the South Plains continues their ongoing efforts to provide child abuse prevention education with the new Keeping Kids Safe Initiative. April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. Throughout the month, the center will host a series of community education programs. These programs will provide area residents with understanding about how they can help children who might be victims of abuse and trauma.

The sessions will be each Thursday, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Children’s Advocacy Center, 720 Texas Avenue. Seating is limited so reservations are required. The Keeping Kids Safe series is provided free of charge. Those interested can choose any single session or sign up for multiple sessions.
