Continuing Education: Prevention, Family and Communities: How to Implement a Radical Shift in Child Welfare
The webinar will not only feature Children's Bureau Associate Commissioner Jerry Milner but also Jody Grutza of Grutza Consulting, Will Jones, with Thompson and Page Walley with Saint Francis Ministries. Also joining the panel will be state leaders from Arkansas and North Carolina.
The webinar will focus on how states, counties and providers can move towards a broad radical shift in child welfare, utilizing the Family First Prevention Services Act implantation as one vehicle to get there. Associate Commissioner Milner will lay out this broader vision, a national update on Family First will be provided and then action oriented Public and private partnerships in Arkansas and North Carolina child welfare will be discussed.
