As part of our continued commitment to supporting you in your ongoing education, I would like to invite you to attend an upcoming web-based training on human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children.

• A definition of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC)
• Risks factors for CSEC and children/youth in foster care
• How to be an effective CASA/GAL advocate when working with victims of CSEC

By participating in this training, attendees will:
• Become more familiar with human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children
• Learn the difference between what society thinks CSEC is and what it actually is
• Develop knowledge around what puts foster youth at higher risk for CSEC
• Gain an understanding of how to be an effective CASA/GAL when working with CSEC victims
