Join the Texas Working at the Intersections for Safe Families in a discussion on re-imagining the intersections of child welfare and domestic violence utilizing a race equity lens on June 17 at 1:30 p.m.
Presenters of the webinar include: Aurora Martinez Jones, Associate Judge in Travis County; Maricarmen Garza is the group coordinator for Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid’s Victim Rights Group and the director of the Legal Alliance for Survivors of Abuse project; Eloise Sepeda, national expert trainer and consultant of Restorative Justice and the rigorous intersection of child welfare, family violence, and race equity; and Kimberly Wilson Vincent, a court-appointed attorney representing children and parents in Child Protective Services.
