In this training you will learn more about implicit biases and stereotypes that we all have about individuals from backgrounds different from our own. Through this training we will answer the following questions:
• What is an implicit bias and stereotype?
• How can implicit bias and stereotypes harm youth and families you interact with?
• How can we identify our implicit biases and stereotypes we have about certain groups?
• What do we do once we identify them in order to avoid unintentional harm to families we work with?
