Session 3 Pre-service Advocate Training
New Advocate training consists of 18 hours of classroom training and 12 hours of self-study, for a total of 30 hours. In addition, 1 hour of courtroom observation will be scheduled with the Training Director. Volunteers may miss one class and schedule a make-up session with the Training Director. If more than one class is missed, the volunteer will be required to register for a future training session. The sign up and application process must be completed at least one week prior to the start date of the training session in order to attend.
