Session 1 Pre-service Advocate Training
New CASA volunteer training consists of 6 scheduled, 3 hour classes (18 class hours) and 12 hours of self-study, homework, and videos for a total of 30 hours. In addition, 1 hour of courtroom observation will be scheduled with the Training Director. Volunteers may miss one class and schedule a make-up session with the Training Director. If more than one class is missed, the volunteer will be required to register for a future training session.
