CASA of the South Plains will host an informational session for prospective volunteers at its office at #24 Briercroft Office Park on Thursday, January 28th from 12:00 p.m.to 1:00 p.m. This is a great, no-obligation introduction to CASA and its mission to provide abused and neglected foster kids with volunteer Advocates that can speak up for their well-being. Join CASA staff and current volunteer Advocates as they discuss the increasing need for volunteers, what it means to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA, and how community members can help make a difference in the lives of Lubbock area foster children.
