Importance of CASA Volunteers a spotlight at CASA IMPACT! Silent Auction and Luncheon

Every day CASA Volunteers make a positive impact in the lives of children in foster care. By representing their best interest, both in and out of court, CASA Volunteers help make sure children in foster care don’t fall through the cracks of an overburdened child welfare system. Community members are invited to attend the upcoming CASA IMPACT! Silent Auction and Luncheon on Thursday, November 14th from 11:30AM – 1:00PM at the Lubbock Civic Center hosted by CASA of the South Plains. Attendees will hear an incredibly powerful, and deeply moving story from a former foster youth and their CASA Volunteer as they share their journey though the child welfare system to a Forever Home. The event also includes a catered lunch, silent auction, and the Todd Monroe Reno Champion for Children Award presentation.

Tickets and table sponsorships are on sale now and can be purchased at www.casaofthesouthplains.org or by contacting Jonathan Laurel, Development and Events Manager, at jonathanl@casaofthesouthplains.org or call (806) 763-2272.
