CASA of the South Plains will host a one-time volunteer event in Plainview on December 5th at First Christian Church at 1800 N. Interstate 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Volunteers will make Holiday custom gift card holders for foster youth served by CASA and learn more about CASA’s mission, what it means to be a volunteer Advocate, and the impact an Advocate can have in the life of a foster child. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has thought about volunteering to get involved.
“The number of children entering foster care continues to rise annually. We need the Plainview community to join us in our effort to help provide Advocates to all abused and neglected foster children in Hale County,” said Amanda Norfleet, Recruitment Director for CASA of the South Plains.
To sign up, please R.S.V.P. to Amanda Norfleet, Recruitment Director for CASA of the South Plain at (806) 763-2272 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
